Robert Half International, or commonly referred as, Robert Half, is a global human resource consulting firm based in Menlo Park, California founded in 1948. It is a member of the S&P 500 and is credited as being the world's first and largest accounting and finance staffing firm, with over 345 locations worldwide. Robert Half has a variety of divisions. Robert Half has a variety of divisions. The Company operates through three segments: temporary and consultant staffing, permanent placement staffing, and risk consulting and internal audit services.

A former customer shares his experience, "They never call you back on important issues like pay and mileage or getting back to you regarding job prospects. It's a pain to write emails to Robert Half and make phone calls without getting called back or receiving an email. Very poor communication. It goes to the highest level, even the Vice Presidents of the company."

"They will set you up for an interview, you go spend over an hour of your time there, ace the interview, then finish with a firm hand shake. Then your "friendly" recruiter tells you they have feedback and claims that they said you were sitting there swearing like a sailor. Gee, would most people give someone like that a plant tour and have an interview with them for over an hour if they were a piece of human garbage? Then if you dare speak in your defense, you will be attacked and yelled at. Oh, but remember you are the unprofessional one right? It is one thing to pass up a candidate for someone else with better credentials, but another thing to smear someone's character. So if you like a nice dose of libel topped with slander, by all means apply with this place."

"They lie to their clients. They lie to their staff. They lie to their contractors. I was told the assignment would be for at least a year. The client told me day one they'd only signed a contract for 6 weeks! I was given a specific description of my duties, none of which were accurate. My time-card was changed without my approval. They kept underpaying me. They continually made excuses, none of which were valid. There were four sales people working on this account and they should all be in jail."

"The biggest that I had with this company was the lack of professional management, and who they hired as recruiters and sales people. The office is one big giant open room, with the type of cubicles where you are directly next to and also in front of another person. The level of immaturity at this company was literally unbelievable. Grown adults would fight and argue, and talk/make fun of each other behind each other's back, but when in front of that person they act as if they are friends. It was the most disgusting place I've ever been in, both inside or outside the workplace. Elementary students or a welfare office had a higher level of maturity than all of the employees here. Also you are expected to work hard. Ridiculously hard, I'm talking 7:30am to 6pm. I am so happy that I left. I now make more money, work half the hours, from home. Ahhhhh."

"They do not care about their employees at all even though you are paying their salaries! You have to work at the min. 1500 hours (37.5 weeks) to earn any paid time off. Your direct pay shows up inconsistently. The recruiters are invisible once you get the job and if you do connect with them they treat you like you have a disease."

"- High turnover. If you liked a rep odds are they won't be there when your contract ends. - I have been lied to multiple times by one of their representatives who told me I was still in the running for jobs that had been filled (I called the employer myself to confirm). - They don't take complaints seriously, and they have no regard for your privacy when lodging a complaint. - Most of their representatives have never had a job besides their current job, but they will insist you follow their interviewing "tips". - It seemed like all they did was search the internet for jobs, and then submit their candidates resumes. I can do that myself; where are all of they're supposed strong partnerships with large entities?"

"I had an interview setup for 3PM EST and never heard from the recruiter who setup the interview. We spoke multiple times throughout the week and he sent me all the necessary requirements for the Skype interview, which I met. I may be entry-level and fresh out of school, but this comes off as very unprofessional. I took off work to go home and get in front of my computer only to stare at blank screen. Thanks."

"2100 hours required to get holiday or the yearly bonus pay.... 52x40 = 2080.... meaning you get ZERO days off, ZERO sick days, ZERO vacation AND you have to work 20+ hours of over time. A junk manipulative company. As bad as walmart in my book. they provide medical insurance that's 800$ a month and then have the nerve to tell me "We had to cut the holiday pay and bonus pay benefits so we can afford the medical and other benefits. REALLY?!??!?!?! complete junk of a company!"

"Bad leadership, really bad. Without even mentioning the internal lack of values, Houston hired a murdered and the client had to be the one to alert them (caught on video, all over the news). They also hired someone that stole an identity TWICE. LITERALLY TWICE the same office hired someone wanted by the police. How do you fire someone who stole an identity and then hire them again? Just two examples over a very small time frame. How do you as a company trust someone like this to work in your company, accounting departments, or IT? Baffling! This company does not care about their employees and will leave you feeling worthless. "After being placed at a job that was supposed to be temp to hire, I had a few issues with the working environment. I was contacted by my contacts that placed me at the job asking how everything was going. I was honest and their best response was to tell me to submit a two week notice. They would not allow me to interview at other “opportunities” until after the two week notice was submitted and done. They expected me to forgo a paycheck and did not offer any other solutions to the issues I brought to their attention. I do not recommend them for anything seeing as it took them two business days to contact me after the “assignment “ they placed me at let me go.NothingEverything"

They were no help during this troubling time of COVID-19! All of the building got to work from home as soon as the pandemic started, except the Robert Half people. There were 14 confirmed cases of COVID and they refused to send us home. When we started to voice our concerns they just brushed them. They staring laying people off instead of just letting us work from home. They are terrible people and evil. All of the Robert Half people are working from home but won't protect their employees, it's BS if you ask me. I really hope someone sues them because this is outrageous.Noneeverything"

"Been with them for now 7 months and not one job. This predates the virus so they have no excuses. They just put out job postings and real in New fish and it goes no where. I think they are just collecting personal information to re sale but thats my opinion. Big Boy waste of time, moving on."

"Rober Half Salaried Professionals: Management uses manipulation and are dishonest in their supervisory tactics. They are resistant to providing you a performance review and subsequent pay increases. The supervisors need Workplace Harrassment Training and a separate HR division to work with employees. If needed, work a one time placement, but then get out!"
